Eswar Kommareddy State Manager (EDP and HR) PRAJASAKTI SAHITI SAMSTHA "We decided to go for an Open Source ERP solution after having done several round of discussions with vendors of proprietary versions in the market. Our considerations were the initial cost, cost of expansion, vendor dependency and customised solution. There is no surprise that our search led us to Open Software Solutions Industrial Cooperative Society Limited, Kochi, Kerala as the Kerala State Government has a very Free Software oriented IT policy. Being a worker owned company, the profit margins of OSSICS are very affordable to medium size customers like us. What stands out unique is the Technology Transfer process that OSSICS undertakes with exemplary training and documentations, a true indication of the commitment to FOSS ideology. |
